Any registered and qualified voter may vote a vote-by-mail ballot. In addition, all members of the Armed Forces, their family members and members of the Merchant Marine and their family members, who are U.S. citizens, may vote-by-mail. When requesting a vote-by-mail ballot, you must provide your name, date of birth, residence address and the address to which the ballot should be mailed. You may request a ballot by completing the Vote-by-Mail Request Form below, emailing our office (firstname.lastname@example.org), by calling (850) 983-1900 or writing our office 6495 Caroline St. Suite F, Milton, FL 32570. Requests may also be made by the voter's immediate family or legal guardian if instructed by the voter
One request shall be deemed sufficient to receive a vote-by-mail ballot for all elections through the end of the calendar year of the second ensuing regularly scheduled general election, or you can request specific elections, if that is all you need.
Please be aware there is a free access system available through this website where you can check the status of your vote by mail ballot. Just click on My Registration Status, enter the required information and it will bring you to the screen where you can check the status of your ballot.
You must read and follow all instructions included with the vote-by-mail ballot and on the vote-by-mail ballot instructions page. In the event the vote-by-mail ballot is returned with no voter signature a vote-by-mail Ballot Affidavit must be completed and returned to the Santa Rosa County Elections Office no later than 5pm on the day before the election.
