Vote by Mail

It is now too late to request an absentee ballot for the November 4, 2014 General Election.

Any registered and qualified voter may vote an absentee ballot. In addition, all members of the Armed Forces, their family members and members of the Merchant Marine and their family members, who are U.S. citizens, may vote absentee. For more information on overseas absentee voters (UOCAVA), please visit the Federal Voting Assistance Program web site at www.fvap.gov.

Call (850) 983-1900 or e-mail our office to ask about absentee balloting as soon as you know that you will be unable to go to the polls on Election Day. When requesting an absentee ballot, you must provide your name, date of birth, residence address and the address which the ballot should be mailed.

One request shall be deemed sufficient to receive an absentee for all elections in the year that you request. Or you can request just one election if that is all you need. You may make your request in writing 6495 Caroline St, Suite F
Milton, FL 32570, by telephone (850) 983-1900, e-mail villane@santarosa.fl.gov, or fax (850) 983-1829. Requests may also be made by the voter's immediate family or legal guardian if instructed by the voter.

You must read and follow all instructions included with the absentee ballot and on the absentee ballot instructions page. In the event the absentee is returned with no voter signature an Absentee Ballot Affidavit must be completed and returned to the Santa Rosa County Elections Office no later than 5pm on the day before the election. Please click here to access the Absentee Ballot Affidavit.
